Why not using iCookbook?

The application is a very good cooking assistant which helps you innovate, prepare and cook your meals. It has been named the best lifestyle iPad app in App Store Rewind 2011, in the US. It has reached Version 2.1, being now available for all iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and being on-sale in the iTunes Store at only $4.99. Beside the over 2,000 recipes, excellent functions and layout, one of its greatest features is the Voice Command support, which let your hands free to do whatever needed and avoids messing up your devices’ screen.

You can add your own recipes with photos, rate existing ones and see the most popular dishes. For every dish you are aware of the level of difficulty, the amount of time and the ingredients needed. More, you can save your favorite recipes, use the Meal builder for easy meal planning, sync your recipes and shopping lists between your devices through iCloud, watch recipes and videos on your screen TV via Apple TV and Airplay.

I personally like very much the prepare mode, with the recipe being nicely displayed and remotely read by a cook and the kitchen tools such as timers, substitution lists and measurement convertors.

Multi-touching on iPhones,iPods and iPads

Apple gadgets have a friendly user Interface that does not raise question marks when working with them. Only using fingers, one may tap, pinch, flick, swipe, home pinch, multitask swipe and application switch.

Tapping is the most common function you’ll practice on your gadget that allows selecting or working with programs. Other applications may require tapping and holding.

Pinching is used for zooming out pictures or webpages, for having a better perspective. For zooming in, users can use un-pinch.

Scrolling through applications, pictures or webpages is permitted with Flicking, and the user gets to control the speed of scrolling.

Swiping is used when interacting with pictures and documents. On iPhones and iPods it’s used when looking through applications and photos; it could be very well used when working with iPads, while thumbing through iBooks.

Home Pinching is returning to the initial state, of zooming in a Photo, of returning to the Home screen.

Multiple Swipe and App switch are used on iPads when switching to another app.

Apple, “Made in China”

For most of us nowadays, the sentence Made in China is the symbol of cheapness and things made in a hurry. Although most of the Apple products are manufactured in China, we can’t say the same thing for iPhones, iPads and iPods. Apple is under the mark of perfection and hard work.

New York Times states that money is not the only issue that detains Apple for not moving the companies in America. For example, smartphones need thousands of pieces that are manufactured in the same zones. Also, Corning’s chairman argues that main customers are in Taiwan, Japan and China and if they move the glass factory in America, shipping it by boat or air would take too much time, not talking that it would be 10 times more expensive.

When Barack Obama and Steve Jobs were gathered at a meeting, the president asked “Why can’t work come home?” The response was pretty frank, that it’s never going to come back.To sustain his arguments, Jobs stated that he is quite satisfied with his employees in China and he only wishes there would be more communication between them, about solutions and things to improve.

“The speed and flexibility is breathtaking,” ohter executive said.“There’s no American plant that can match that.”

The China affair is said to have started in 2007, when Jobs was dissaponted by the sample that would very soon become the iPhone. He wanted to go for a display that wouldn’t be scratched, one made of glass.New screens arrived in the exact night that Steve had ordered screens to be replaced.

What if Apple would provide with a new gear called iPod Air?

What if…? I don’t know about you guys, but this rhetorical question in always on the loose in my head, asking myself if I would still be the person I am now if I have chosen another path, or made major changes in life. Well, my way of looking at this question is related to both Past and Future but in this article we’re heading toward the Future. Just ipicture a new gadget on the market, something that surely crossed your mind but didn’t take it too serious. Apple products have already made their name known, not only for the latest classy design but also for advanced features.

So, what if Apple would revolutionize the world of music player and invent something appealing and outstanding? The market experienced the fame of iPod shuffle, then iPod Classic, iPod Touch and now iPod Air. An iPod that would have the abilities of past samples plus new and advanced features would definitely get itself noticed.

I could only think of the Siri feature and I’m positively sure that the Apple Corporation wouldn’t lose a change to impress users with this ability. The iPod Air is practically all about earbuds, a quite small device that would go into your ear, would switch to favorite songs in a flash just by asking Siri to do so. It’s also said that it would provide iCloud services, connect to a 4G telephone network, possess 8 GB of storage and for the rest, they surely want to surprise us.

Looking forward to finally lay hands on it!
