Brushes is a drawing application that gives to your fingertips brushes effects; it can help you illustrate your imagination in a large variety of colors due to its advanced color picker and using layers merging, powerful zooming, a simple interface, and a skilled hand. The results will be beautiful and real-like.
Brushes enables you to adjust the layers in your painting. You can add font to a layer, merge and rearrange layers and adjust the transparency level, and you can also import photos as layers. Each painting supports up to 5 layers.
Just in case it takes too long to find the perfect combination with the color picker, you can use the eyedropper tool and pick your color in a blink. You can access the eyedropper tool from the toolbar or by tapping and holding on the painting.
Brushes gets completed by the Brushes Viewer app for OS X that offers you the possibility to replay your paintings to your Mac and export them at high resolution.
This simple but powerful drawing app has also a Flickr group that you can join and share your creations with its members and also take a glance at others’ skills.
