Discover the Wonder behind the EarPods

Apple introduced the iPhone 5 along with a newly redesigned set of headphones, called the EarPods. What is wonderful about the EarPods is that a single headphone perfectly fits any shape of ears like being particularly designed for it. Moreover, besides being very comfortable, the EarPods also deliver high-quality sound with optimized acoustics.

The details of the headphones’ design are thoroughly reasoned in order to work in harmony one with another. For example, the acoustic chamber features two airing gaps that offers greater and low frequency sound.

iPhone 5 Pros and Cons

Some of you may be disappointed by the iPhone 5 and some of you may already be standing in line to get it. Still, if you are a little aloof concerning the Apple’s new iPhone, check out Walt Mossberg’s personal description of the iPhone 5 and see what’s cool or, on the contrary, what’s annoying about it.

Find out all about the iPhone 5 pros and cons, starting with the way Apple chose to increase the size of the screen, namely to make it taller but not wider and with other advantages such as the thinner design, the manufacturing components that turn the iPhone 5 gorgeous, the speed, and the new iOS 6 and ending with the features this iPhone model lacks.

“The world’s most popular smartphone becomes significantly faster, thinner and lighter this week, while gaining a larger, 4-inch screen—all without giving up battery life, comfort in the hand and high-quality construction.”

Overall, the iPhone 5 proved to be an excellent choice, the best on the market actually. Check out Mossberg’s article The IPhone Takes To The Big Screen [video] and see if you agree or not.

Why Standing in Line for an Apple Product Abased with the Lapse of Time

There was a time when the iPhone or the iPad were hallowed, when there was no other device like the Apple device and when standing in line in front of the Apple Stores was animated by a simple and earnest desire. But today it’s all about marketing.

The iPhone 5 will be available in the Apple Stores starting with September 21 and as usual, customers are going to form a huge lingering line in front of the stores with days ahead the release. But this year is about to become more special. Gizmodo believes that it will be “just a bunch of sellouts and self-promoters.”

“The first two people, Fortune reports, in line outside of Apple’s flagship Fifth Avenue cube are there to promote a social media start up. The next two are being sponsored by a service that buys old electronics (like, say, your iPhone 4S), and one of them is, naturally blogging about it. The fifth intends to sell his spot to the highest bidder, and the last two are aspiring musicians hoping to get their names out there.”

As pre-orders showed so far the iPhone 5 topped two million demands, thus, we should expect  this year’s Apple Stores ‘ritual’ to be an entire amalgam of people and interests.

iPhone 5 Demands Topping Two Million in 24 Hours

Who said that the customers were disappointed by Apple’s new iPhone? Pre-orders are showing that the iPhone 5 is selling like hot cakes and faster than the previous iPhone models, reaching two million units in first 24 hours. That’s more than twice as many iPhone 4S pre-orders a year ago.

The fabulous iPhone 5 demands from last Friday caused Apple to delay the shipments, but the number of the pre-ordered devices was not mentioned. Today Apple confirmed that the iPhone 5 demands topped two million, scoring also a new record.

“Apple® today announced pre-orders of its iPhone® 5 topped two million in just 24 hours, more than double the previous record of one million held by iPhone 4S. Demand for iPhone 5 exceeds the initial supply and while the majority of pre-orders will be delivered to customers on September 21, many are scheduled to be delivered in October.”

Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, expressed his joy concerning the pre-orders result: “iPhone 5 pre-orders have shattered the previous record held by iPhone 4S and the customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal.”

Moreover, according to AT&T’s count the iPhone 5 is the fastest selling iPhone that the company has ever offered. The carrier did not mention a sales number but just noted that since Friday, the iPhone 5 was ordered more than any previous model.

So far, we can conclude that customers are not disappointed by the iPhone 5, even if they are choosing the device for its tech specs or for its brand. We’ll just have to wait and see if Apple’s iPhone 5 will become the best-selling gadget of all time.

Apple Delays iPhone 5 Shipments With 2 Weeks

It took only one hour of pre-orders for Apple to sell out all the iPhone 5 stock. Due to the fact that the demand stands so high, Apple had to delay the shipments with two weeks.

The orders for the iPhone 5 began on Friday at midnight PST on Apple’s website and after an hour the shipping notes changed from Sept. 21 to Sept. 28. iPhone lovers that didn’t go the chance to pre-order the device have also the option to purchase it on Sept. 21 form a retail store.

So far, Apple gave no information concerning the number of ordered iPhone 5 devices, but there’s no doubt that huge lines of customers that pre-ordered or not the iPhone 5 will be lingering in front of the Apple Stores. Talking of this practice, Samsung is preparing a new commercial that makes fun of Apple’s users.

Apple Confirmed the iPhone 3GS Retirement

The iPhone 3GS is about to come out of stock. After that, it will never come back. Apple has confirmed that the 3GS model will be discontinued in the coming weeks. The stock will then be filled only with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPhone 5.

The iPhone 5 will be released September, 21 in U.K. Then the 8 GB iPhone 4 will be the oldest iPhone model in the lineup.

This decision may come also due to the release of iOS 6. Even though you can install the new mobile OS on an iPhone 3GS you will not be able to use all the features because the old components of the smartphone cannot cope with its need of resources.

Anyway, technology moves on but old smartphones get stuck in the mud. The 3GS model is 3 years old and outrun. Its demise was predictable.

Does the General Public Spots the Updates of the iPhone 5? [Funny Experiment]

Is funny how Apple can play with people’s minds. The following video is the best example of Apple’s involuntary power. Each time a new iPhone is released people feel a maniac need to have it, even though they’re still fond of their current iPhone model. They’re actually so caught with their love for the iPhone that they will find nothing wrong with it. Thus, give an iPhone 4S to an iPhone fan and tell him that it is the iPhone 5 and see what happens.

Jimmy Kimmel organized such an experiment and the result was pretty funny. You’ll have to take into account that the interviewed users are randomly picked on the street and that some of them may have no idea about what they’re talking about. Still, some of them already own the 4S model. See how funny the experiment played out.

New Redesigned Line of iPod Touch and Nanos

Apple just got out of its pockets tiny new toys, namely an ultra-thin iPod touch and a completely redesigned iPod nano.

The new iPod touch is the skinniest of the line. It weights 88 grams and is only 6.1 millimeters thick.  And this is by far only the beginning! It comes with iOS 6, Siri, an A5 processor, a 4-inch widescreen retina display, and an upgraded 5 MP rear camera. You can now have entertainment at the will of your pocket, including games, music and internet!

The new iPod Nanos look like cute, little iPhones. The completely redesigned MP3 player comes with a large display, a more powerful battery, and for the first time, with Bluetooth.

The iPhone 5 may be out of our expectation, at least of some of us, but the new iPod touch and iPod nano are certainly a big surprise for all of us.
