Analyst research shows that Apple might beat its own target this year’s Q1

More than 50 institutional and independent analysts investigated Apple’s revenues, earnings and sales over the past four quarters. As expected, iPhone is still the main source of Apple’s revenue. The affiliated analysts expected an EPS of $10.19 while the independents dared to estimate the EPS at $12.01. We will know for sure which of the estimations was closer when the company will announce its fiscal Q1 earnings on Tuesday, 24th of January.

Until now, Apple counted its best profit on sales on Q3 11 and judging by the chart, it appears that Apple will score bigger time this quarter and beat its own targets. This is surely to be so mostly because of the large selling of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S on holiday season.

Let’s hope this forecast will reveal itself accurate and that Apple will not repeat the experience from the fiscal Q4, namely the September quarter when the iPhone selling ceased, causing low earnings for the company.
