Apple to launch two tablets in 2012: iPad 3 in March and iPad 4 in October, says a report from DigiTimes

ipad 3, 4

In 2011 Apple introduced the iphone  4s and the iPad 2, but in 2012 the company has biggest plan to dominate the tablet market by launching the iPad 3 in march and the iPad 4 in October , claimed a report from DigiTimes.

The new report also reveals that the new iPad 3 will have a QXGA display with 1,536 x 2,048 pixels, and a better battery with an improved autonomy , although the other hardware specifications won’t amaze anybody.  Personally I look forward to watch my videos on the new iPad 3 with that amazing display and not being afraid that my battery runs out.

The iPad 3 will come with a QXGA (1,536×2,048 pixels) display and longer battery life although its other hardware specifications may not be so amazing as expected, said the sources. But Apple will take the advantage of the iPad 3 launch to slash the price of its iPad 2 to US$399, the sources claimed

Introducing the iPad 3 in March, will probably have an impact on the iPad 2 price, bumped down to $399. The price cut and the launch of the iPad 3 will allow Apple to compete in the same price range with other tablets on the market and also leading the way with the new tablet.

Also DigiTimes reported that Apple is planning to launch a super-enhanced  iPad 4 in October. Killer applications and upgrades for all hardware specifications  will be expected for the new iPad 4, a device that will have to compete against the new Android and Windows based tablets.
