How to show Live Traffic in Google Maps on iPhone & iPad devices?
The majority of Apple users take full advantage of their Google Maps because they could always use a good advice for not getting lost or for avoiding the long road. The Live Traffic feature would be more of help when planning a journey.
- Firstly, tap on the page curl icon in the right bottom of the device
- Tap Show Traffic and afterwards tap again the curl icon for returning to the map view
The colors that highlight the roads are Red, Green and Yellow for showing the user the exact roads that must be avoided or taking full speed on them. The Red color show high traffic and the road is advised to be avoided. The Green light stands for barely any traffic; the road is easy being sailed. Last but not least, the Yellow one shows an average afternoon traffic.
The Show Traffic feature may also cope with iOS 6 but for now we do not know exactly all the features that the new Map would come with until this fall. Known features of the new Apple Map are turn-to-turn navigation and traffic services.
