iPhoto improved to match the new iPad’s Retina Display
With the new iPad, Apple aims to make people experience technology in a new and attractive way, because Apple believes in a transparent technology in which a device is the perfect mate and not the focus of your activity.
Improvements were made not only on the tech area but also on the Apps Store in order to make the apps match the performances of the new iPad.
After few accurate enhancements, iPhoto is able of completely changing the photo editing process. The multi-touch gestures make it easy for everyone to select a specific photo margin to edit, to apply quality effects, to repair defects or to easy browse through the gallery. Just play with your fingers on pictures and completely change them.
With iPhoto one can scroll through pictures thumbnails and compare multiple pictures by simple tapping on one photo. The app will automatically find the similar photos in your library.
Editing consists in cropping, adjusting exposure, contrast or saturation and in image straightening.
iPhoto offers dramatic or smooth effects that can change the look and feel of your pictures by giving them an extra finger touch. One can apply artistic and vintage effects, aura, black and white, duotone, warm and cool, watercolor and many others.
And if you hadn’t had enough of playing, you can also apply some finish touches using brushes that can repair a picture or make it more soften, more sharpen, more saturated or anything more you want to do with your touch.
iPhoto can automatically create out of your photos great-looking journals. Just select a group of photos. You can add details to your lovely pictured story, such as captions, dates and maps. The journal can be published as a web page or simply stored on the iPad.
You can share your photos from iPhoto with friends on social media by directly posting them and you can also move them through other iOS device that has iPhoto installed.
It seems that you can do anything only with simple and multiple gestures on an outstanding Retina Display. It’s amazing how you can have fun while doing your job!
