Which of the iPad and the Nexus 7 tablets will prove to be the toughest in the rough battle with damage? Folks from SquareTrade, an independent warranty provider, put both tablets to three tests that were inspired from the most common damaging situations.

The iPad and the Nexus 7 will be first dropped from chest high then from a normal table’s high and finally will be dropped in a bath tub filled with water. Both tablets hit their edges, screens, and corners and dealt for several seconds with the pressure of the water.

Some will expect the small Nexus 7 to be more fragile; on the other hand, some will expect it to be more solid while the majority of us will expect the most valued and precious iPad to be also the most massive. A side-by-side technical comparison brings about all kind of differences, thus, each tablet can be the best from different points of view, but a durability test will surely point out a winner.
