Protect your secrets on the iPhone with FaceUnlock, face recognition app soon to reach AppStore (video)
Everyone says “there’s an app for everything” and apparently it is, but there is always somebody that disagree. Till now, the iPhone owners didn’t have that cool feature called FaceUnlock, already present on Galaxy Nexus, but thanks to a Romanian developer you can play with this soon on iOS.
For the moment , this application do not replace the slide to unlock mechanism from your home screen, but is working very well to a locker area on your iPhone where you can keep private and secrets files and information. Imagine that in the near future, thanks to very bright developers, your secrets will be highly secure without remembering passwords or patterns, of course, if you do not have a tween brother.
We hope that the iOS app would be much smarter than the unlock method used on Android 4.0, which can be fooled by a user’s picture. As soon as the app reach the AppStore we will test it and share results with you, but for now here’s the first preview:
