This week’s iPad cases
There’s only little time left until the release of iPad 3 and rumors about the manufacturing and the design were already contrived. Fortunately the case makers such as Ballistic and Marware left aside the rumors and came with interesting products for the already existent iPad2 which will surely be a success even after the release of the new model, mostly on the secondary market.
Ballistic’s Tough Jacket is a three-layer case developed to offer to your iPad the strongest protection. The 1st layer is silicone built and its purpose is to absorb the shocks. The 2nd layer is made of hard plastic and makes the tablet more resistant. The 3rd layer also absorbs shocks but it is polymer built. This case remarks itself by its Ballistic Corners technology which ads and extra shock absorption on the corners when dropped. It comes in a black/black or black/red combination, both for $69.99 but if you choose the latter you will also get a holster.
Marware’s case is a hybrid of a case and of a screen protector, named as expected C.E.O. Hybrid Contrast Stitching iPad 2 Case + FREE Anti-Glare Screen Protector. The case holds the tablet in multiple arrangements using soft magnets. One can type or watch videos on the iPad while adjusting it in horizontal or multiple vertical angles. The interior of the case has a synthetic leather layer and the exterior has an elastic strap that helps one better hold and use the tablet. You can get the leather case for $49.99 and the anti-glare screen protector for free.
There are a whole lot of cases models on the market, some of them protect the iPad 2 and others make it more functional. Fortunately, you have where to pick from, just decide what you need most.
