The New Version of iPhone (4G, 5 or 6): Details about Size, Screen and Dock Connector

The possible iPhone 5, iPhone 6 or the iPhone 4G will come with a 4-inch display meaning that it will be longer and thinner than the current version of the gadget.  It’s stated that measurements are likely to be near 125 mm by 58.5 by 7.4mm- a 10mm jump in height. The most visible chance in what concerns the design would be the metal panel on the back of the device. It will be made of metal and it would look flat.

It looks like there’s no sign of the teardrop shape concept, the gadget coming with a flat back. It predicted to have Gorilla Glass 2, probably being thinner with the same strength as on the previous one or same thickness but with bigger strength.  As for the connector, Apple will abandon the usual dock connector, providing a smaller and rounded one, being almost half of the predecessor’s size.  Also iLounge states that it’s rumored to possess fewer pins (around 16) than the original dock, around 16 and even the shape of the whole would come with a different design, maybe resembling to a pill than the prior rounded rectangle.  Changes like these are also expected to be seen on upcoming gadgets like the new iPod touch.
