CiccareseDesign collaborated with MacRumors and created a beautiful set of renderings of the iPad Mini, based on the details offered by the latest rumors and leaks. The renderings were illustrated also in 3D to help users analyze from a closer perspective Apple’s 7.85-inch iPad.
CiccareseDesign imagined the iPad mini with the headphone jack placed along the bottom edge of the device, close to the dock connector and with smaller side bezels. The design respects the specified proportions, namely 66% of the surface area of the current iPad and almost 40% more surface area than other 7-inch tablets. Otherwise, the iPad mini looks fairly similar to the new iPad.
The renderings also compare the iPad mini with a full-length iPad and with an iPhone 5 concept. Take a glance at this other comparison between the current iPad and an iPad mini concept created by InventHelp.
The video of the 3D model requires WebGL. Check out more details on MacRumors.
