A Grammy Trustees Award for Steve Job’s fulfillment

“Accepting this award means so much to me because music meant so much to him. He told us that music shaped his life…it made him who he was. Everyone that knows Steve knows the profound impact that artists like Bob Dylan and The Beatles had on him” were Eddy Cue’s words, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, the one that accepted the award for Jobs.

The whole event gathered those that have come with significant contrbution to the field of recording and Steve Jobs is considered to have had a big impact in the music industry.  When Jobs first introduced the iPod in 2001 he was sure that the device was going to write history, to reinvent the world of music. It was seen as a large target market that knew no boundaries. On February 11, 2012 Apple’s former CEO was seen as part of those that reveived the Grammy Special Merit Awards for his part in shaping the iPod and iTunes.

When Eddy Cue accepted the award he reminded everybody why Apple came with such a device because music has been around for ever and it  will always be around, because everybody loves music so why not provide something that all of us love.

Steve first received a Grammy in 2002 so the Grammy Trustees Award is the second award that Steve Jobs won. Apple’s former CEO deserved the title, he worked hard and struggled to achieve perfection in everything he did, always fallowing his father Paul’s words : “When you make something, make sure the back is as beautiful as the front, even if nobody sees it.”
