Aisha to be better than Siri on iPhone 5?

One of India’s largest phone companies, Micromax, provided a new phone gadget with an app that no one was expecting, namely Aisha.  The app is practically an Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistant and it has nothing to do with Speech Interpretation and Recognition Interface.

Although the phone looks promising at first glance, coming with dual SIM touchscreen running on Android’s 2.3.6 Gingerbread, Aisha is the one element that captures the attention and makes everyone wonder if it’s really worth.  Aisha needs an internet connection for working and her abilities are pretty much the same as Siri’s, namely looking up for movie reviews, answering simple questions.

Aisha also flicks through the Internet in order to give the most accurate horoscope and information about future if you are searching for a spouse. It’s one of the assistant’s main features, to help the user find his match. That’s why the company has made an agreement with SimplyMarry.com so when you activate Aisha and ask her to look for your mate she will show the potential candidates (the user needs to fill questions for having a better selection).

When it comes to understanding the Indian language, Siri manages very well to interact with its user. But of you were to tell Siri about finding you a wife, the answer would be “I don’t know what you mean by ‘I’m looking for a wife’.”
