A new leaked photo showing components of the iPad mini, unveils facts about how Apple’s mini tablet may look like. The photo was surfaced by Nowhereelse.fr and details the flex cable that connects the smaller dock connector, the headphone jack and the home button connector.

The layout of the dock connector/headphone jack component is similar to the purported layout of the iPhone 5 and also resembles with the style of other Apple devices components. Yet, Kyle Wiens of iFixit was unable to confirm that the leaked part is 100% authentic.

So far, iPad mini concepts and alleged parts showed that the headphone jack will be located on the top side of the mini model, while this leaked component places the headphone jack next to the dock connector. This aspect surely raises some controversies.
