Brand new Technology for Mac: Autodesk® Inventor® Fusion

“Inventor Fusion is a free technology preview that enables creation of designs through intuitive direct manipulation tools. Our aim is to set a new standard for Assembly design, giving users greater control over designs without sacrificing productivity. Hopefully this technology preview will make it easier to open and edit 3D models from virtually any source and incorporate them into new or existing designs (such as in Autodesk Inventor). Your feedback will determine if we are correct in our thinking.”

The technology comes with new exciting capacities like Surfacing support and Simplification wizard. In what concerns the second feature, users are now faced with one button simplification of designs for making common geometry fast and easy. Inventor Fusion is so far the easiest to use yet, coming with new marking menus, sketch and modeling ease of use.

The existent version of the technology preview for the Microsoft Windows platform is said to expire in May 1. The Apple OS X compatible version is going to wonder around for a little longer, expiring on January 1, 2013.

The system requirements include Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, iMac with certain graphic cards like AMD (ATI), NVDIA and Intel.
