Deep Facebook integration within iOS 5.1 beta 3
New beta versions of the iOS often reveal significant information hidden in the code, and the latest one couldn’t escape to be analyzed by the developers’ eye and transformed in a new source of suppositions. The possibility that Apple would offer deep system-wide iPhone and iPad integration with Facebook, appears not to be just a rumor anymore. Evidences were found in the iOS 5.1 beta 3. The pre-release build of this beta version also references two new iPad models hardcoded “J1AP” and “J2AP”.
iOS 4 was initially intended to have Facebook integration, but the companies couldn’t come to an agreement at that time. Apple integrated Twitter instead, being one of the greatest features of iOS 5. As a result of this action, 25% more people have been using Twitter. It is a logical assumption that Facebook service will follow the same pattern.
So, can Facebook Integration be the wildcard of the new generation of iPad in work? This would be a great feature for people who prefer Facebook over Twitter. And what will be the real names of the next iPad models?
