Free FaceTime Over Cellular from AT&T
It seems that the AT&T Company offers Mobile Share data plans to users with no extra charge for taking full advantage of FaceTime. It has been lately in discussion due to the fact that Apple has announced at WWDC that iOS 6 would allow users to use FaceTime over cellular networks just like Wi-Fi.
The AT&T’s Mobile Share Service is said to be launched on August 23, according to MacRumors, coming with round the clock talk and text on smartphones and data to share. Also according to AT&T’s site, plans range from 1GB to 20GB of data to share, and the more you share the more you save.
AT&T will offer FaceTime over Cellular as an added benefit of our new Mobile Share data plans, which were created to meet customers’ growing data needs at a great value. With Mobile Share, the more data you use, the more you save. FaceTime will continue to be available over Wi-Fi for all our customers.
It seems that the company is encouraging users to go for the new Mobile Share plan but they can still stick to their existing data plan, only they won’t be able to use FaceTime over Cellular.
