iPhone 5 Pre-orders to Begin September 12

So far, Apple used to introduce its new devices at special organized events and to start the shipments several days following the event. Let’s take for example the release of iPhone 4S; it was introduced on October 4 and released on the market on October 7.

According to iMore’s sources, this year Apple plans to release the new iPhone on September 12, as already announced, and to start the pre-orders at the same day. The September 12 release is available only in U.S. while on the international markets iPhone 5 pre-orders will begin most likely on October 5.
