A video detailing a possible rear plate of the iPhone 5 appeared on Wednesday on the official web page of the mobile phone parts seller ETrade Supply. The leaked part may or may not belong to the new iPhone but the design matches with almost all the rumors that have been in the air so far, such as a thinner profile and a larger screen.
The rear plate discovered by ETrade Supply brings into the open new features, such as a smaller charger port, larger speaker ports, and a smaller SIM card tray.
Anyway, this back part may not be authentic. Apple thoroughly tests multiple possibilities and perspectives of a device before releasing, thus, the back part may be one of the various samples of design tested by Apple. The company used even the 4S design to test the implementation of an A5X chip, reason for which one may suspect the existence of the Retina Display on the next generation iPhone.
