Nest Learning Thermostat now on sale in Apple Stores
Reports from last week claimed that the Nest Learning Thermostat created by the former Senior Vice President of Apple’s iPod division, Tony Fadell recently CEO at Nest, was about to be sold in Apple Stores. Since this morning Tony’s thermostat is available for a promotional price of $249.95, less than the suggested retail price.
The Nest Learning Thermostat has nothing in common with other devices developed by Apple, though one might suggest that Tony, the “father of the iPod” was inspired by his experience back at Apple to design the thermostat. Anyway, Nest can be controlled remotely using an iPhone, iPad or a Mac Book via WiFi; the Nest Mobile app is available in the AppStore.
