With only few weeks ahead of the supposed October release of Apple’s iPad Mini various physical mockups started to surface, often showing the same set of features. Apple.Pro and Giga.de revealed two new alleged iPad Mini. Both mockups confirm older design reports, such as the resemblance with a larger iPod touch and the narrow side bezels.

Additionaly, the iPad Mini revealed by Apple.Pro comes with a very thin profile, a smaller dock connector and a SIM-card slot and antenna cutouts.

The mockup revealed by Giga.de features a body made entirely of metal and offers a better approach to the size differences in a side-by-side comparison with an iPhone 4S.
