New iPod Shuffle and iPod touch coming at WWDC 2012?

When it comes to providing new devices, Apple usually keeps its tradition and releases their gadgets at about the same date at previous versions. For example, the iPhone was released 3 years in a row in summer, only the latest version of the iPhone was released in October.

The iPod Shuffle was last released on September, 01, 2010. The 5th generation of iPod Shuffle came in 5 different appealing colors, being made from sleek, polished aluminum. You get to control your favorite music with just a click, so you practically get music at your fingers. It has dominant features like VoiceOver (by pressing the button, the gadget informs you about the name of the artist, playlist or when you’re battery needs to be charged) and Multiple Playlists.

So, Apple released the small colorful device two years ago so the corporation must be planning in releasing one as soon as possible, maybe at WWDC. It’s rumored that a new version of iPod, iPod Air would revolutionize the world of music. A quite small device that would fit into your ear and would switch between songs just by asking Siri to do so. Not to mention features like 4G, advanced iCloud and 8GB of storage.

The iPod touch is also approaching the end of a cycle. It was last released at the beginning of October 2011. It surely came with a lot of outstanding features, namely iMessage, DH Video Recording, Games and iCloud. Although it was last released with the iPhone 4S, Apple could take advantage of the WWDC and surprise their fans a new version of the iPod. It’s expected to possess the virtual assistant Siri.
