Netherland’s Apple Store is to be opened quite soon

A month ago in January photos with falseworks from the Apple store were revealed thanks to a storm that blew away barriers around the store. Now, new windows displays are all over the store for drawing attention upon the new Apple store that is going to be inaugurated pretty soon.

The store is soon to be a reality as stickers have populated the renovated historical building. It’s said that the three apple symbols from the coverings are hints of the crosses from the Coat of Arms of Amsterdam. The message is also quite visible:

Apple Store, Amsterdam. Opening soon.

Apple couldn’t have chosen any place to become his store, the Hirsch bulding is said to have firstly belonged to quite an impressive fashion house.ifoAppleStore characterizes the bulding in a few words:

The building is topped with a 124-foot copper dome that made it the tallest retail building in The Netherlands at the time. Inside, a huge atrium and other architectural details give the building a spectacular appearance. According to lease documents, office space on the upper floors is offered starting at about $47 per square-foot annually. Presumably ground-floor retail space would be more expensive.

First Apple Store in the Netherlands

Thanks to a strong windstorm in the Netherlands, some local bloggers had the opportunity to see the Amsterdam Apple Store construction stage. The wind blew away part of the barriers around the store and the fans took advantage of this chance to shoot some interesting photos. According to iPhoneclub.nl, the store will be opened next month, probably around mid-February. The blog also claims to have pieces of information from a company that will start logistics services for the shop care from mid-February.  Also, the training course for future employees, which will be held at Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam, has been sent.

The Leidseplein Square location in Amsterdam will apparently sport a spiral glass staircase leading up to the store’s second floor, which is covered by a glass pyramid as in Apple outlet in the Louvre.
