Steve Jobs not the one to come with the iPad concept?

If we were to take a glance into Steve Jobs’ life, we could mention his impact in the world of technology and music industry. Apple’s former CEO has received the Grammy Special Merit Awards for the development of the iPod and iTunes, reinventing the world of music, not to mention the world of gadgets.

Steve Jobs came with the iPhone concept in 2007, turning out to be a total success. It seems that the iPad concept was not totally his idea, Bill Gates – former chief executive and current chairman of Microsoft expressed his belief on the future tablets on an interview in 2007. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were asked about a device that they would rely on 5 years from that time. Microsoft’s chairman has stated that he would go for a “full screen device to carry around, doing more dramatically reading”; possessing “Voice and Ink” and in the end the user would manage to have a keyboard for typing.

In 2010, Apple’s former CEO has launched the first generation of tablet, namely iPad that was basically used for audio-visual media gathering books, movies, music, games, apps and so on and so forth. With Wi-Fi, multitouch display, onscreen keyboard and Siri voice for the future generation of iPad, Bill Gates’ idea of tablet seems to resemble with that of the iPad.
